The red fox is probably my favorite of the tails I received, it's incredibly soft and in great condition, no blemishes. The butt-end of the tail was a little strung out, but that's just the way it's cut, and it's sturdy nonetheless.

So i ordered one of these along with a color added Raccoon tail, The raccoon tail was very very soft and quite nice, however upon opening the box i noticed i got not one but 2 red fox tails. Neither had tips though. I'm not sure if the ones with tips were out of stock or not, but nonetheless i am happy because i did get more than purchased, it would have been nice if they had white tips though.
Overall, wonderful, soft, great quality minus a few stickers in the fur which were easily removed

I asked for some specifics with my two tails and they were pretty much spot on with both of them. Granted, every tail is unique, but they still did a wonderful job. The tail was full, soft, and fluffy. No parts had weak leather and it was very well tanned. No odd smells. :) I love shopping from Furtail!

I have used Furtail.com a couple times now. The quality of fur is high, the service is dependable, and fast shipping ( which is updated through the process ). I deal with multiple fur sources, but I will definitly be coming back to Furtail.

I got my red fox tail and it was much more full and fluffy than in the photo, and straight around the edges without any "messy" fur sticking out like in the pic. I got the largest size, and it was even a little longer than 18". There wasn't much red in the tail I got, just at the top, and the rest was dark or black. But, I've learned online that when red foxes get big, their tails tend to start looking like silver fox tails (black with a white tip) so it makes sense given the size.
