When I pulled it out of the box, it was about 6 inches longer than I expected because there was some rump fur on the top. Sadly, I'll probably have to cut it off before I wear the tail, but I'll probably use that part later. The fur is the softest I've felt, comparable to that of a bobcat tail I got somewhere.
